Job growth sags in the 2000s

If you’re feeling nostalgic for the 1990s, there’s good reason.  In today’s Snapshot, EPI economist Heidi Shierholz shows that in the 2000s it took longer to recover employment levels, average annual employment growth was much slower, and the ratio of employment-to-population was lower than in the 1990s.
