David Seligman is the Executive Director and an attorney at Towards Justice, a nonprofit law firm based in Denver, Colorado that uses impact litigation, policy advocacy, and collaboration with workers and workers’ organizations to advance economic justice and build worker power. He litigates class action cases around the country on behalf of workers asserting claims under antitrust laws, consumer protection laws, anti-trafficking laws, wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination laws, and workplace safety and health protections. He is an expert in the law surrounding the enforceability of forced arbitration agreements in consumer and worker contracts. Before joining Towards Justice, he was a staff attorney at the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC), where he remains a contributing author. In 2020, he received NCLC’s Rising Star Award. He clerked for Judge Patti B. Saris of the District of Massachusetts and Judges Susan L. Carney and Robert D. Sack of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. David is a graduate of Williams College and Harvard Law School.
