SEGREGATION FOREVER?: How Our Misunderstanding of History Perpetuates Discriminatory Housing Practices

Date: August 27, 2013

FHEO will host the next FHEO Speaker Series event on Thursday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the Brooke-Mondale Auditorium.  Our speaker, Richard Rothstein, will discuss the notion that segregation is a matter of personal choice and economics, rather than a practice that was often supported by government institutions.

This event was originally scheduled in January 2013 but was cancelled due to weather conditions.

To reserve your seat, please RSVP to FHEOSpeakerSeries@hud.gov. The event will also be webcast for HUD field personnel (no RSVP needed). Check with your supervisor to see if you can get training credit for attending this event.
