The Economic Policy Institute, the National Consumers League and The American Constitution Society are honored to host author, Marlene Trestman, whose book, Fair Labor Lawyer, profiles Bessie Margolin. Margolin’s extraordinary career as an attorney at The US Department of Labor included serving as Associate Solicitor where she won a remarkable 93% of the cases she argued before the Supreme Court.
Joining Trestman in discussing Margolin’s life, career, and lasting contributions to the Fair Labor Standards Act will be: Sally Greenberg, Executive Director of the National Consumers League; Fatima Goss Graves, Senior Vice President for Program a the National Women’s Law Center, and United States Solicitor of Labor, Patricia Smith.
