The AFL-CIO, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, and the IMK of the Hans Böckler Foundation are holding a conference on lessons learned from the transatlantic financial crisis called, The Crisis and What Remains to Be Done?
When: Friday June 20, 2014
Where: Carnegie Endowment for International Peace at 1779 Massachusetts Avenue, NW.
The conference builds on last year’s “Trans-Atlantic Agenda for Shared Prosperity” conference. Both Europe and the U.S. are still struggling to address the problems unmasked by the financial crash of 2008 and the ensuing Great Recession. The conference will ask the plain but not simple questions, what have we learned and what remains to be done?
